Mathematics Bursary program

The Mathematics Bursary Program has been established to foster studies in mathematics and statistics, and to align studies in mathematical sciences at QUT with the needs of industry, through a partnership with industry sponsors and other organisations. Mathematics Bursaries will be awarded on a competitive basis. Applications are due by 1 December the year prior to the commencement of study.

Dean's scholars bursary

Students in the Dean’s Scholars Accelerated Honours Program receive a bursary for each year of study. For further information on this program please refer to the Faculty of Science website and QUT's Handbook (see the undergraduate course list of this section).

Honours bursary

In the last few years, the School of Mathematical Sciences has awarded a number of Honours bursaries, each valued at $5,000.- pa tax-free. Normally, there are two application rounds, one for Honours students commencing in semester 1 and one for Honours students commencing in semester 2.
