Mathematics Bursary programThe Mathematics Bursary Program has been established to foster studies in mathematics and statistics, and to align studies in mathematical sciences at QUT with the needs of industry, through a partnership with industry sponsors and other organisations. Mathematics Bursaries will be awarded on a competitive basis. Applications are due by 1 December the year prior to the commencement of study. Equity bursary QUT has a number of programs offering financial support to students: see http://www.equity.qut.edu.au/programs/forstudents/financial/index.jsp Dean's scholars bursaryStudents in the Dean’s Scholars Accelerated Honours Program receive a bursary for each year of study. Honours bursaryIn the last few years, the School of Mathematical Sciences has awarded a number of Honours bursaries, each valued at $5,000.- pa tax-free. Normally, there are two application rounds, one for Honours students commencing in semester 1 and one for Honours students commencing in semester 2.
